Special Wish FlightsWe occasionally receive requests for "special wish" type flights for terminally ill children. If we are available on the requested date, we will perform the flight at no charge. If we are unavailable on a specifically requested flight date we will work with other pilots in the Central Ohio area to see if we can accommodate the request. Please contact us for more information. Donations for Silent Auctions & RafflesEach year, we receive hundreds and hundreds of requests for donations for silent auctions and raffles. While we wish we could fulfill these requests, we have found it is not possible or practical to do so. Instead of donations for raffles & silent auctions, Flying Colours selects a few charity events each year to attend with our balloon and crew. We prefer this "hands on" approach, where our crew and friends can be involved - with the balloon, to help worthy causes in the community. Requests for our participation at a charity event must be submitted in writing, and events are usually selected (at the sole discretion of Flying Colours Hot Air Balloons and our crew) prior to each ballooning season.
